Scott Alexandre Mills

Scott Mills was born and raised in the beautiful Pacific Northwest. Portland, Oregon is home to mountains, waterfalls, the ocean and urban landscapes. At age 12, his father gave him his first Pentax MX 35mm camera.

Mills proceeded to learn darkroom black and white printing through the early 1990’s in high school, culminating in a sold out solo exhibition in 2003.

After a long period of dormancy to pursue his other passion of teaching, Mills traveled to South Africa in 2014 and picked up Photoshop skills having been inspired by the great Instagram movement.

He is currently an elementary school teacher and shoots 35mm in his spare time, including hand processing and DSLR scanning images.
